Downtown Dog is located in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Washington. Home of the Bow Wow Bus.

Our daycare program includes a trip on the Bow Wow Bus to an off leash site. We hike, swim and play with your dog on fenced private property. This is not a kennel - we do not lock your dogs up to wait for your return. Having said that, we do have many separate areas for the dogs to play appropriately or rest quietly and comfortably in a room of their own.

All dogs are supervised all the time. We cater to your pet, offering a full day of exercise, nap time, snack time and loving attention.

Dogs get to socialize by size, temperament and activity level. Please call or email to make your reservation.

8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Daycare is not available on Saturday and Sunday as we dedicate this time for training classes with Jessica Ray, CPDT

Off Leash Dog walks

All dogs must be assessed by our trainer, Jessica Ray, for good temperament before joining our program. If your dog has fearful or aggressive tendancies, this may not be the best daycare choice for your pet. There are many wonderful Pet Sitters on the island, perhaps that will be a better fit for your fearful or aggressive dog.
